Our Mission: To enable every Montana teen to develop a strong mind, a strong body and strong character through lifelong participation in cycling.
The fundraiser would be used just to serve local kids in the Helena area (the local division of Montana Interscholastic Cycling League).
The Helena Division of the Montana Interscholastic Cycling League:
● Fills a niche for Helena and surrounding area (East Helena, etc.) students whose needs may not be met by traditional interscholastic sports
● Gets kids outside and supports fitness levels
● Welcomes and supports diversity in ability, ethnicity, gender, orientation, and skill level
● Promotes trail-building efforts and environmental awareness

We currently have a great need for funding to purchase cycling equipment, gear, and uniforms, travel costs to venues, and to assist with coaching costs (coaches must complete specific training offered through the National Interscholastic Cycling League). Ideally, we would like to offer scholarships for kids who can’t afford to participate and who need help purchasing bikes and equipment. Initially any funds would be used for startup as our first year offering this to high school kids and actual racing will be Fall 2019.
We have already raised $5000.00 through individual donors to get the Montana division of the National Interscholastic Cycling Association going. We will be meeting again on November 5, 2018 to brainstorm other fundraising opportunities.
To support purchase of cycling equipment (bike pumps, tools, etc.), uniforms, coaching fees, and/or student registration fees for low-income families.
