Charles Ellsworth was born and raised in the rural mountains of Arizona, however he currently finds himself based out of Brooklyn, NY. Somewhere in-between he spent the better part of a decade playing music out of Salt Lake City. My favorite oversimplification of Ellsworth’s music called it “Americana Noir” while Charles himself has been championing the classification of “redneck dadrock.” However, the most apt review to-date referred to his music as “A triumph for American songwriting.”
Regardless of how he’s labelled Charles tours a lot and keeps Montana as a regular part of his time on the road. Charles has played the Lewis & Clark Tap Room with his band before, last fall.
