With an Americana/Roots sound that is a perfect fit in all corners of the country, Sterling has played numerous venues, festivals and events nationwide. He also regularly performs at and supports Veteran Charity events whenever he has the opportunity. With his ability to put on a high energy folk-rock show with his 5 piece band, an intricate bluegrass trio performance, or an inspiring solo show, Nick Sterling has the ability to captivate any audience. 2019 was a banner year for Nick Sterling as his music continued to reach coast to coast playing all over the country, playing nationwide, as well as releasing new music all Summer. The road is very familiar to the Nomads as they regularly put on thousands of miles each month and have been known to make 30+ hour drives in order to make shows happen. Their grass roots mentality of heavy consistent touring has earned them a loyal following. 2020 is shaping up to be even bigger as Nick has already been slated to perform at big festivals in the Northwest and tour every corner of the country.

Integrity, dedication and authenticity are vital components of being a musician, and a soldier. Nick Sterling, a former infantryman in the U.S. Army and Purple Heart recipient, brings each of these to his music by presenting songs of loss, struggle and love with a delivery that is as heartbreaking as it is inspiring. Like many Combat Veterans, transitioning to civilian life was difficult as Sterling searched for that same sense of purpose he had while serving his country. Realizing that music was the mission he had been longing for, he promised to use his talents to continue serving and is donating all of the proceeds from his EP, STAND YOUR GROUND to the Lone Survivor Foundation.
